Earl Allen Wilcoxson, 70, of Milton died at 11:08 P.M. Sunday Jan. 26, 2014 at University Hospital, Iowa City. He was born Aug. 25, 1943 in Quincy, IL to Earl A., Sr. and Mary Yoe Wilcoxson and married Marcia Day Ragen Feb. 10, 1979 in Memphis, MO. He grew up in the Albia area, lived many years in Milton and was employed as an over-the-road truck driver, most recently for Troutman Trucking, Bonaparte.
Surviving are his wife, six daughters, Tracy Miller (Matthew) of Farragut, Terri Wilcoxson of Wilton, Tammy Harrelson (Mike) of Alamogordo, NM, Theresa Eslinger (Dusty) of Nashville, TN, Barbie Miller (Kevin) of Packwood and Kathy Briggs of Red Oak, two sons, Danny Wilcoxson of Cedar Rapids and Tom Ragen of Milton, 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, three brothers, James Wilcoxson of St. Joseph, MO, Mike Wilcoxson of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Clayton Wilcoxson (Mary) of Agency and a sister, Jeanette Rhodes (Jimmy) of Mexia, TX. His parents and two sisters in childhood preceded him in death.
His body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials to the family may be mailed to P.O. Box 65, Milton, IA 52570. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua is assisting the family.
