The Davis County baseball team was scheduled to compete in a tournament in Burlington on Saturday, June 15th, but that four-team event has been called off due to weather.  The Mustangs had taken the field for their first game of the day against Burlington, but heavy rains and the promise of more bad weather later in the day caused organizers to cancel the entire event with no games being completed.

Davis County returns to action on Monday when the Mustangs travel to Albia for a doubleheader.  First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 on 104.3 KRKN.
