(Ottumwa)—The Ottumwa Regional Legacy Foundation’s Bright Ideas Community Enrichment Fund grant deadline is drawing near.

The fund will distribute up to 150-thousand dollars this cycle.  Grant amounts are expected to range from 25-hundred dollars to 30-thousand dollars.  Applying organizations must be an IRS designated 501c-3 nonprofit providing services inWapello County.

Priority is given to programs and projects most likely to have a positive impact on area residents.  Applicants must complete and submit the online grant application by midnight June 30th.

Organizations that are a 501-c-3 nonprofit and interested in applying for a grant from the Bright Ideas Community Enrichment Fund should access the online grant application system at  Before starting the application process applicants are encouraged to view the instructional video and review the grant checklist which will provide assistance in completing the online process.
