Indian Hills Community College volleyball coach Lyndsey Lyon has set the dates for the summer volleyball camp at IHCC. The instructional camp will be held June 17-19 at the Tom Arnold Net Center on the Ottumwa campus.

There will be three separate sessions for the camp: athletes entering grades 9-12 will attend from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each day and their cost is $60; those entering grades 4-6 will go from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and their cost is $35; athletes entering grades 7 and 8 will have their instruction from 2 – 4 p.m. at a cost of $50.

The camp will teach the basic fundamentals of volleyball, including passing, setting, hitting, blocking and serving. A solid foundation in skill development and motivation will be offered to all who attend.

In addition to three days of instruction, all participants will receive a special camp t-shirt.
