(Ottumwa)— The public is invited to a benefit dinner to be held this coming Monday evening at the Ottumwa YMCA. The dinner to be held from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. will benefit the Ross and Donna Garrett family.
On April 12th of this year, a baby girl named Madison was born to the Ross couple. The minute “Maddie” came into this world her parents knew she was going to have to have heart surgery……that took place five days later. Since then Maddie has had three more surgeries and it’s possible she may need another surgery in the future.
The Ross family have had many extra expenses due to motel, food, child care of their two children and on top of that…………..the medicl insurance did not pay for all of Maddie’s medical expenses.
To help the family Ottumwa’s very own Dizzy the Clown has organized a spaghetti dinner this coming Mondayevening at the Ottumwa YMCA. The dinner will include spaghetti, French bread, beverage and desert. During the dinner residents can purchase raffle tickets for an I-Pad or other items. Raffle tickets will be only 5-dollars a piece.
