(Mt. Pleasant)— A 55 year old New London man has been sentenced for distribution of methamphetamine and for possession with intent to distribute meth and marijuana. Ferlin Patrick Edgington has been sentenced to 8 years in prison.
Chief U.S. District Judge James Gritzner also sentenced Edgington to four years of supervised release and to forfeit 937-dollars in drug proceeds.
Beginning in 2007 Edgington bought methamphetamine and marijuana his source in Chicago. On June 8th of last year, Edgington consented to a search of his residence where agents found 130 grams of meth, seven pounds of marijuana and more than 93-hundred dollars in cash.
